EUmBRella is the public portal for two of the three EU funded cooperative research projects on chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. It brings their partners, competencies, meetings and open opportunities into one record.
The portal documents the bilateral science and technology cooperation agreement between Europe and Brazil, in force since 2007.
02 projects
Both consortia work on the mechanisms that drive or resolve chronic inflammation, with complementary molecular targets.
The consortium identifies and validates new molecules involved in the resolution of inflammation, including natural and synthetic proresolving agents, as a basis for innovative therapies in chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
The consortium develops small molecule anti inflammatory compounds based on the inhibition of Src family kinases, and tests them in preclinical models of chronic autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Within the framework of the bilateral science and technology cooperation agreement between Europe and Brazil, in force since 2007, EUmBRella is the public web portal for two of the three EU funded cooperative research projects on chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. These projects were funded under the Seventh Framework Programme (Health).
The portal gathers joint initiatives and opportunities of the three EU Brazil cooperative projects. It covers the European and Brazilian scenes with practical information material on partners, competencies and platform technologies, joint conferences, fellowship schemes, relevant calls and job offers.
It also sets out the access opportunities open to European researchers in the national research and innovation programmes of Brazil, and it contributes to a stronger cooperation between research institutions in Europe and Brazil.
